Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) is the national peak body for fire safety and the fire protection industry.
It is a not-for-profit organisation and charitable institution that seeks to improve community safety, representing almost 1,800 companies and organisations – and up to 30,000 people – that provide, use, or support fire protection services and products.
Its members, customers, and supporters, share a common goal – the creation of a better-skilled, more professional, accredited industry that protects people and property – delivered through advocacy, technical information, accreditation, services, and the education of practitioners.
With a head office in Melbourne, training facilities in Melbourne and Sydney, and staff in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth, FPA Australia’s role is to influence change and deliver a safer community where the loss of life, injury, and damage to property and the environment are minimised through effective fire protection.
