Across three interactive sessions this series (13, 20 and 27 October) will take a deep dive into six leading Australian women photographers. Join one or two online sessions or the entire series!

ACTIVITY OUTLINE:

Session 3 will explore art and film through the work of photographers Tracey Moffatt and Robyn Stacey. In this sessions students will engage with ideas including the evolution of photography, deliberate artifice and the future of the medium.

Together with facilitators from the National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery of Australia, students will participate in discussions and interactive activities to gain an understanding of each artist’s practice and the context in which they made these works.

We prefer you have your cameras turned on as it assists to aid participant interaction with our shared community.

Students require some sheets of paper and a pencil/crayon/texta to draw with.
