Threatened Species Week – Rarest Bird on Earth?

Rumbalara Environmental Education Centre is hosting a FREE webinar on the Norfolk Island Boobook Owl for Threatened Species Week. It will be held on Thursday 9 September 2021 at 12:30pm. The approx. one hour webinar will be conducted by an experienced DoE teacher.
Students will:
- Investigate how some human activities can impact native wildlife
- Examine methods that scientists use to search for rare animals
- Evaluate what action communities can take to assist native wildlife
- Assess different options scientists have for increasing the numbers of threatened species
