Join Wildlife Scientist Dr. Vanessa Pirotta to hear the beautiful story of Calf, a newborn humpback whale migrating with his mother along the east coast of Australia to the icy waters of Antarctica.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Following a very busy National Science Week and to celebrate and Children’s Book Week, the Australian National Maritime Museum is excited to be joined by Dr. Vanessa Pirotta as she read her beautiful book The Voyage of Whale and Calf. Dive into the exciting marine world filled with marine creatures and plunge below the surface to learn more about the lives of these magnificent marine mammals!
This session will also include a casual discussion where students will have the opportunity to ask questions using the Q&A feature in Zoom.
