ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
This program draws together works of art of various mediums to consider ideas including First Nations histories and cultures, colonisation and its impact, migration of people to Australia and Australia’s interconnections with Asia.

Technology and Materials Requirements
National Gallery digital excursions are delivered by our Education team including experienced learning facilitators and artist educators. Seeing and hearing you and your class helps us to connect and deliver an engaging and inspiring program. Please read through the information below to ensure you have the best digital experience.
WHAT IS REQUIRED
- Internet connection
- Computer, laptop, tablet device for each student or a large screen to share
- Webcam, either built into your device or a plug-in webcam
- Microphone and speaker, either built into your device or plugged in separately e.g Bluetooth speaker
- Zoom meeting ID number/link to join the meeting, provided via email one week prior to the excursion
- Zoom application downloaded on your device preferred
Pre Event Requirements
One week before your excursion you will receive an email from the National Gallery education team with pre and post learning activities, along with your Zoom meeting link. You can also schedule a test connection with the Gallery’s education team if desired.
