SciFest 2022: Amazing Animals Adaptations! (Stage 2, Stage 3)
Aug

Join the team at Sydney Olympic Park this National Science Week to meet some incredible native animals.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Meet some incredible native animals including the beautiful Green Tree Frog, the elusive leaf insects, Petal our Eastern Long Neck Turtle and Garrigan the Blue Tongue Lizard!
During this virtual session, we will explore lifecycles, diets and amazing adaptations like camouflage. We will surprise and engage the students with totally amazing (and some disgusting) facts about these animals and show the features that help them move, keep warm, protect themselves, find food and eat!
We will finish the session by investigating some challenges that face our native animals and simple steps we can take to protect them and their habitats.
