Celebrate Biodiversity Month by exploring an amazing selection of authors and scientists from our permanent collection!
Visual Arts | Year 5 – Year 6
- Explore ideas and practices used by artists, including practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, to represent different views, beliefs and opinions
- Develop and apply techniques and processes when making their artworks. Please have drawing material/tools ready for each participant!
- Explain how visual arts conventions communicate meaning by comparing artworks from different social, cultural and historical contexts, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artworks

Technology and Materials Requirements
Students require some sheets of paper and a pencil/crayon/texta to draw with.
This virtual learning program will be delivered via Zoom. Upon booking, you will be sent a link to follow.
To facilitate the best possible experience we require a teacher to rename the Zoom connection to appropriately reflect those behind the camera. Your school name, student level/s and student numbers is preferred eg. Nolan PS – Year 5/6 – 45
We prefer you have your cameras turned on as it assists to aid participant interaction with our shared community.
