Eleanor Patterson’s start in athletics came when she was eight years old, after a sleepover at a friend’s place. She accompanied her friend to Little Athletics and fell in love with the sport. She has gone on to represent Australia at 2 Olympic Games and win a World Championship Gold Medal.
