Marvellous Marine Food Webs (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3)

Explore the tropical shallows and icy ocean depths in this introduction to Ocean Food Webs with the Australian National Maritime Museum.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Primary School students (years 1-6) will engage with our Museum Educator while learning about some of the diverse creatures that live in our oceans; from the smallest to the largest, from producers to predators. We also highlight plankton, their superpowers and the important role they play in all ocean food webs.
Before this interactive lesson, teachers will be emailed a printable activity sheet for students to cut out before we start. Alternatively students can use post it notes or blank paper to draw their own food webs during the session.
