Marvellous Marine Food Webs (Years 1-6) (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3)
May

Explore the tropical shallows and icy ocean depths in this introduction to Ocean Food Webs with the Australian National Maritime Museum.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Primary School students (years 1-6) will engage with our Museum Educator while learning about some of the diverse creatures that live in our oceans; from the smallest to the largest, from producers to predators. We also highlight plankton, their superpowers and the important role they play in all ocean food webs.
Book into this interactive Zoom Webinar here. Before this session, teachers will be emailed a printable activity sheet for students to cut out before we start. Alternatively students can use post it notes or blank paper to draw their own food webs during the session.
You can also let us know if there are any other topics you would like to see by completing a short survey here.
This session will start at 10am for all states observing Australian Eastern Daylight Time (NSW, ACT, Qld, Vic & Tas), 9.30am for Schools in SA and NT and 8am for WA. Please contact us if you would like to enquire about a session to suit your local timezone.
This program is also running on the 26th of May at 10am. That session can be booked here.
