What are laws, who makes them and how can you be involved? Students work with our Parliamentary Educators to understand the fundamentals of active citizenship and the work of the Australian Parliament.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Introducing Parliament is a 30-minute program for students in Years 3-4 and explores:
- the similarities, differences and importance of rules and laws
- the role and responsibilities of representatives
- what it means to be an active citizen.
