History Skills: Evaluating Sources (Stage 4)
Learn how to think like a historian in this skills-focused virtual excursion.
In this engaging online workshop, the joy of history takes centre stage as students are guided through the process of interpreting, analysing and evaluating sources using examples drawn from the State Library’s collections. Students apply historical terms and concepts while cultivating critical thinking skills to make judgements about the usefulness and reliability of sources.
In this virtual excursion, students will:
- think critically about sources of information
- interpret, analyse and evaluate sources
- make judgements about the usefulness and reliability of sources
- use and understand terminology relating to evaluation of sources.
