Become a Geologist to dig up the earths secrets.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Have you ever wondered what lies deep within the Earth? Do you know what makes the plates move and why there are volcano. Do you know the difference between a rock and a mineral? Dynamic Earth explores earth forming processes and answers all these questions and more.
Students will look at real specimens and see cool experiments to learn about plate tectonics, earthquakes, volcanoes and the earths layers.

Karen Player from Australian Environmental Education has over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering environmental education programs and has a passion for the natural world. Karen studied geology and earth science at university and has been building her rock collection since she was 4 years old. Join her on a journey to discover more about our Dynamic Earth.
