Digital Schools Talk with David Booth and Gigi Beretta (Primary Schools) (Available on Demand from 5th June until 19th June) (Early Stage 1, Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3)
Jun

To celebrate World Environment Day join us for an inspiring talk by two visionary minds, David Booth and Gigi Beretta.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Professor David Booth and Giglia “Gigi” Beretta are Marine Ecologists at the University of Technology Sydney. In May 2019, they worked on installing a modular artificial reef along the Opera House sea wall as part of a research project to restore marine habitats and rebalance biodiversity around Bennelong Point.
Both passionate advocates for the environment, David and Gigi will share their journeys in preserving our planet, discuss their careers, the artificial reef and the way that the arts and science have come together for this project to empower the next generation to become eco-conscious leaders.
If your students have a question they would like to ask, you will have the opportunity to record it and send it in for David or Gigi to answer on the day. Questions must be sent no later than 14 March 2024. Further instructions on how to do this will be sent to you upon booking.
