Digital Schools Talk with Dan Golding (Available on Demand from 3rd September until 16th September) (Stage 3, Stage 4, Stage 5)
Sep

Embark on a sonic journey into the realm of video game music composition with Dan Golding, a trailblazer in interactive audio and composer of the soundtrack for the award winning Untitled Goose Game.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Dan Golding is Deputy Chair of Media and Communication at Swinburne University, the host of Screen Sounds on ABC Classic, and an award-winning composer and writer.
Join us for an illuminating talk that delves into the artistry and innovation behind crafting music for virtual worlds. With a deep understanding of both gaming and musical intricacies, Dan will unravel the secrets of how music elevates gameplay, evokes emotions, and creates immersive experiences. Whether your students are aspiring composers, devoted gamers, or simply curious about the way a song comes together this will be an unforgettable experience that will have them seeing – and hearing – games in a whole new way!
If your students have a question they would like to ask, you will have the opportunity to record it and send it in for Dan to answer on the day. Questions must be sent no later than 25 July 2024. Further instructions on how to do this will be sent to you upon booking.
