Celebrating World Kindness Day with Sue Hindle (Early Stage 1, Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3)

On Demand

Join Sue Hindle children’s book author of You Matter: Be Your Own Best Friend, singer / songwriter and wellbeing practitioner as we explore practical ways young people can support their own wellness.

Students will have the opportunity to dive into Sue’s book and participate in a range of simple activities designed to help them feel better. From simple meditations, to singing, breathing techniques and empowering activities our littlest people will start to develop a practical toolkit to help support their own wellbeing.

BROUGHT TO YOU BY: Museum of Australian Democracy

For over 13 years Sue has been working in schools and preschools in the Geelong area providing fun and educational workshops for young singers and music makers. Sessions focus on singing for enjoyment, well-being and building confidence. Sue’s music ‘I Can’t Stand Still’ has been embraced by both children and adults alike for its joyous, feel good, uplifting energy.

The recent release of her first book You Matter: Be Your Own Best Friend, a collaboration with award winning author Sue Lawson, offers practical, self-empowering and calming activities for children’s wellbeing.

Specifically written for primary aged children this book is filled with easy and practical activities to help children recognise their emotions and feelings. It offers fun and varied ways to understand and navigate any feelings that may arise.
