This International Day of Women and Girls in Science join us to hear about being a young woman in science, making a difference, and how to start your own STEM career

ACTIVITY OUTLINE:

Celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science with an engaging virtual incursion featuring Arludo Scientist, Caitlin Dudley, a passionate PhD student studying plant science.
Despite significant challenges women have made extraordinary contributions to STEM throughout history and continue to shape our world in the present day. Join us on a journey through the history of women in STEM, exploring their groundbreaking achievements. Caitlin will share personal insights into her experiences as a scientist in the modern world and how we can promote equal access to STEM pathways for women and girls globally.
This interactive talk aims to inspire curiosity and passion for gender equality in STEM for all ages and encourage a future where everyone, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to thrive in the world of science. Let’s come together to celebrate, learn, and pave the way for future generations of women and girls in science.
