For this one, Lauren Jones – Creative Producer from Incite Arts – talks about the Ensemble, the Centre, and their wonderful collaboration.
Lauren Jones (she/her) is a UK born dance artist and Dance Movement Psychotherapist, currently living and working on Arrernte country in Alice Springs / Mpartnwe. Creative Producer for Strong Feelings, an Incite Arts disability-led exhibition by the stArts with D Performance Ensemble. Lauren’s role shifts between co-creator, mentor and collaborating artist with the stArts with D Performance Ensemble. Lauren also coordinates Incite’s arts and disability program and has worked as a producer and creative producer on various arts projects. Alongside working for Incite Arts, Lauren facilitates Dance Movement Psychotherapy sessions and lectures for Melbourne University on their Creative Arts Therapy program.
