In this FREE virtual workshop, Their Excellencies, the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Mrs. Hurley will personally guide you through a series of fun and hands-on activities from Questacon’s Engineering is Elementary program.
Discover the thrill of Questacon’s Engineering is Elementary “Catching the Wind: Designing Windmills” unit of work, where your students’ understanding of mechanical engineering will soar to new heights! Challenge them to put on their thinking caps as they dive into the exciting world of the engineering design process, designing and building their very own windmill. Your students will also explore how engineers and windmills play a crucial role in powering the industries of the future. It’s an opportunity for them to envision themselves as the architects of innovation and progress!
