Life Education is Australia’s largest provider of preventive health and drug education to school children. With the help of its iconic mascot Healthy Harold the giraffe, Life Education has been empowering children and young people to make safer and healthy choices for more than 40 years.
We work in more than 2000 schools and preschools across NSW and the ACT, with approximately 290, 000 school children participating in our program each year. Our 60 specially trained educators visit students via our 44 mobile classrooms, three pop-up classrooms and our new virtual and online program.
The Life Education program provides valuable lessons exploring healthy eating, personal safety, physical activity, positive relationships, cybersafety and the impact of alcohol and other drugs. All modules are age and stage appropriate and aligned to the NSW PDHPE syllabus and the Australian school curriculum.
We offer Virtual Lessons by request and stream them into classrooms via Zoom. The Virtual Lessons K-Yr2 are 45 minutes in duration & Yr3-6 are 60 minutes in duration.
Our on-demand Online Modules are available at any time and suitable for at-home learning as well and in-class. Each Online Module is bundled into 3 sessions with video content, interactive activities and games and has downloadable worksheets.
