Explore marine science and conservation with Busselton Jetty!

Busselton Jetty is one of Western Australia’s most recognisable and beloved heritage icons. Stretching 1.841km out to sea, it is the longest timber piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Once a working port jetty, today it is home to 1 of only 6 underwater observatories in the world. The submerged piles are colonised with a beautiful array of marine invertebrates, creating a vibrant and diverse habitat that is home to over 300 species.

Explore the marine world and learn about biology, ocean science, and environmental stewardship through live and pre-recorded video content, as well as additional resources available on our website. Watch the Busselton Jetty Welcome Video to have a glimpse.
