Writing spooky stories (Stage 3)

Join us for a spooky creative writing journey!
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Be inspired by the State Library’s imposing façade and ornate interior to compose some atmospheric and spooky descriptive writing. Your students will be guided through a series of activities designed to develop their creative writing skills.
Students will need a pencil and paper for this session.

Joining The Event
Technology and Materials Requirements
This virtual excursion will be held online via Zoom. You will be sent the link to join with your booking confirmation.
Students can connect to our virtual excursions when learning from home. As a teacher, you will only need to register once to receive a link you can share with your students.
During the session, students will be able to ask questions by writing in the chat and they will not share any audio or video. All messages will be visible to the presenters but not to any other students.
When students use the link to join the virtual excursion they may be asked to download Zoom if they don’t already have it installed. They do not need to set up a Zoom account to participate.
Connecting To The Event
This virtual excursion will be held online via Zoom. You will be sent the link to join with your booking confirmation. Please advise us of any cancellations ahead of time to enable another school to fill your space. We are unable to provide technical assistance during the conference so please ensure you have tested your equipment and are comfortable trouble-shooting during the session if necessary.
