ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Session 2 will explore the genre of still life through the work of photographers Olive Cotton and Anne Zahalka. In this session, students will engage with ideas including composition, objectivity and everyday objects as subjects.
Together with facilitators from the National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery of Australia, students will participate in discussions and interactive activities to gain an understanding of each artist’s practice and the context in which they made these works.
