A fun and interactive program where students learn about the Westminster system and how democracy developed in Australia, as well as how Parliament works and laws made
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Visit us at our House is a FREE interactive live scheduled program based on the History K–10 NSW Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum: Civics and Citizenship.
Years 5/6 students will learn about the development of democracy in the early colony of NSW, the levels of government and how the bicameral system works to make laws.
The program is run during the school term.
