Virtual Excursions Australia is supporting schools across Australia by providing discounted live virtual events available via DART Learning.


ACTIVITY OUTLINE:

Learn all about chemistry with Street Science’s Chemistry Chaos show. Designed to demonstrate how chemical elements
and compounds work together, this show will educate and entertain scientists young and old. Be amazed as you watch
spectacular colour changes, bright flames and chemical reactions. You’re sure to walk away from this science stage show feeling energised, inspired, and wanting more.

Presenter Bio

Our programs are facilitated by fully trained and experienced science communicators. With either a science or education background, our team mix humour, exciting demonstrations and quality scientific explanations into an interactive science experience to be enjoyed by all ages.

Street Science offers exciting and engaging shows as well as thoughtfully designed hands-on workshops to complement the Australian National Curriculum. Based in Brisbane, Street Science engages intensively with schools and communities along the East Coast of Australia, as well as servicing other major cities, regional districts, and international audiences.

The special 2022 series of virtual events are scheduled on Wednesdays at 9.30am and will run for 45 minutes. Sessions are delivered as a webinar through Zoom and students will be able to ask questions through the Q&A function.
