Virtual Excursions Australia is supporting schools across Australia by providing discounted live virtual events available via DART Learning.


ACTIVITY OUTLINE:

Take one small step, then a giant leap as we investigate the exploration of our Solar System. In teams, learners will work in a coding unplugged game with Scratch as they look at how robots learn to explore hostile worlds such as Mars.

Explore space with robotic coding unplugged challenges. TheStage 1-3 dives into their specific contentcauses of day and nightEarth’s relationship with the Sun, Earth’s place in our Solar System.

To end, we look at the future of space exploration and the roles young learners may play in the future. To the stars…
