Virtual Endeavour (Stage 2, Stage 3, Stage 4)

Step aboard the replica of HMB Endeavour at the Australian National Maritime Museum, to explore History AND Science without having to leave your home or classroom.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
This curriculum-led, virtual tour of the HMB Endeavour uses 360 images and video to allow every student in Australia the opportunity to explore this stunning replica vessel. Your virtual host will guide your students through the historical context of James Cook’s scientific voyage, with a focus on STEM topic areas and using examples of scientific exploration from the time of Captain Cook.
Students will reach surprising conclusions about how science has changed and how we still use the knowledge achieved during Cook’s incredible journeys, with additional resources and activities to reinforce your learning program.
