V1_The Neuroscience of Imagination (Stage 6, TAFE Students, Teacher, Parent)
This is a short course for teachers better develops an understanding of imagination and learn what to look-out for in students to help them with imagination, creativity and critical thinking too.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
It is appropriate for all teachers, including maths, language, art, science etc. It is also relevant for pre-school, primary, high school and university.
This course teaches how the visual system works in conjunction with imagination and the formation of new ideas. It forms a solid platform to explore other modalities of creative thinking. This course shows you how to “look” for and “see” new possibilities.
V1_The Neuroscience of Imagination shows how the visual system works in conjunction with imagination and the formation of new ideas. It looks at relevant networks in the brain responsible for both process driven thought but also new connections in the brain that aid creativity.
The course provides new information and understanding to create a foundation of neuroscientific explanations of the faculty of imagination. This understanding both develops the potential of the teacher and also creative outcomes for students. Below explains who the course is for and where to begin the development.

Participants will need access to the internet to download the Workbook and the visualisations. Participants will benefits from access to a device, for example a smartphone for playing the audio Mp3 (visualisations) with headphones. Participants will benefit from printing certain pages from the Workbook, though it is not necessary as the Workbook is supplied as a digital download.
Connecting To The Event
After enrolment, download your Workbook. This is a large file. Watch the learning, it is recommended you don’t do the entire course in one sitting but rather at your own pace. Your creativity is your journey.
