Thoroughbred Equine Industry Careers

NSW is home to Australia’s largest thoroughbred breeding industry which contributes $2.6 billion to the NSW economy and supports more than 22,000 industry-related jobs in NSW.
In this webinar presentation students will hear from employees working from the yearling to the stallion barns, the foaling units and more, we will also take you on a virtual guided tour of Australia’s top thoroughbred breeding studs.
Students will also learn about pathways into the industry via several industry-led programs from YR10 programs to school-leaver programs as well as some personal stories as to where a career in equine can take you.
