The King and Queen of Green take you on a fun, interactive look at waste and what you can do at school and at home to reduce waste to landfill.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Developed in collaboration with Shoalhaven Council, The King and Queen and The Realm of Rubbish focuses on waste and the value of composting.
The performance contains engaging activities on the topic of Landfill and exploring the simple things we can all do both at home and at school to reduce the amount of waste going to the tip.
Key concepts include:
• The value of good quality soil
• Why landfill has a harmful effect on the environment
• The concept of recycling and why it is important
• What are the things that can be recycled?
• The concept of natures packaging and why it is important in reducing waste to landfill
• The concept of composting and what benefits it gives to our environment
• Exploring our own purchasing decisions and what we can do to be more environmental sound.
This is a live interaction show with with the characters the King and Queen of Green

We now offer online live shows thanks to DART
We regularly tour regional areas of NSW and present at conferences.
EGTC create all their own productions and enjoy writing and producing theatre
