An interactive and virtual S3 History Site Study about significant people, places and events in the Rocks Sydney.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Students will visit various places in the Rocks Sydney, to learn about significant people, places and events in Australia’s colonial history. The webinar takes the form of a fun, history site study into early colonial history in The Rocks, and features engaging information, student learning polls, video crosses to an historian at specific sites, and history journal activities to complete whilst participating. A comprehensive student website supports the webinar, and provides additional post webinar learning opportunities.

Learning Intention: To understand a History site study and describe a number of important people, places and events in the Rocks Sydney.
Success criteria: Students understand the impact of colonisation on The Rocks and can describe a number of important people, places and events in the Rocks Sydney.
