This teacher professional development session focuses on teaching (Years 5-6, Stage 3) sudden geological changes and extreme weather events that can affect Earth’s surface.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Geohazards (earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis) are the main topics considered and the presenters show hands-on demonstrations and inquiry activities to support student understanding.
