This course supports teaching students to be active & informed citizens through the Australian Curriculum learning areas HSIE and PDHPE using the Paying It Forward online resource.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
The Pay It Forward online resource, developed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), aims to support teachers to help primary students make the connection between:
- How their community is funded, and the role of our government
- How things are paid for and the responsibility of an individual in our society
- Values education and life in the 21st century.
These resource were developed by primary teachers for primary teachers to help students explore values around citizenship and becoming an active participant in society today and in the future.
All content is available in online and printable formats once a user has registered for free.
