Looking for ways to make civics and citizenship more dynamic, relevant and memorable? Experience the Parliamentary Education Office’s professional learning workshop.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
In this exciting collaboration with the National Archives of Australia, teachers will explore the significance of Australia’s Constitution, the High Court’s role in interpreting it and how the National Archives of Australia preserve it and other important documents. Teachers will receive a range of curriculum-aligned interactive and immersive teaching resources and strategies.
During this session you will:
- enhance your knowledge and understanding of the
Australian Constitution - examine key High Court cases that have influenced our
understanding of the Constitution - experience fun and engaging classroom activities that
explore the Constitution - come away with a collection of curriculum-aligned
interactive and immersive teaching resources and
strategies
This 2 hour TQI accredited interactive workshop is aligned to the Australian Curriculum and is suitable for primary and secondary teachers across Australia.
