Sydney Science Trail 2021 – My Favourite Scientist (that you won’t find in a textbook)

Live Event
20
Aug

The important contributions of so many people to science have left out of our textbooks because they were of an underrepresented group who did not receive due credit for their work. The hugely successful book and film Hidden Figures brought to our attention the important contribution of Black Women to the space effort, and we can find examples of these people everywhere in the history of science. Join our panel as they tell the story of their favourite scientists and why they’ve been left out of history.

Proudly presented by Sydney Science Trail: Education. Sydney Science Trail is delivered as a collaborative partnership between the Australian Museum and The Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust in celebration of National Science Week 2021.
