STEM Workshop – Bridge Builder Challenge

Calling all junior engineers!
Explore the Engineering Design Process as we construct the ultimate bridge that can stretch across a river and hold as much weight as possible. Concepts include problem solving, strong shapes, mass, measurement and more.

Technology and Materials Requirements
Our sessions are run in Zoom. A Zoom link and suggested materials list will be emailed to teachers once a date and time has been booked with the Science Space Bookings Officer.
Participants will need:
*Computer with internet access, webcam and microphone
*Projector or large screen TV with adequate speaker system for students to see and hear the presenter
*Recycled materials or construction toys (e.g. LEGO) if you would like to build along with the presenter
