Take a virtual tour (with embedded learning tasks) of Longneck Lagoon EEC. Pick and choose from various learning activities relating to the perception and protection of the environment.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Take a virtual tour of the bush, creek and lagoon areas around Longneck Lagoon EEC. Download the student booklet to complete the learning tasks embedded within the tour. Undertake the case study entitled Western Sydney Aerotropolis to investigate differing perceptions of environments. Learn about the protection of environments by completing the case study entitled Stuff – where does it come from and where does it go? Use the map making tutorial to help you create your own maps of places that are special to you. Watch videos to learn about the indigenous uses of our local native plants.
