Rural and Remote Specials: S20 – Finding Frogs (Stage 2, Stage 3, Stage 4)
Nov
Virtual Excursions Australia is supporting rural and remote schools by providing discounted live virtual events available via DART Learning.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Australia is home to about 240 species of native Amphibians, all of which are frogs. In urban areas, human development has reduced the natural habitat available to frogs. Help record frog calls to measure frog health and distribution around the nation. Join Karen from Australian Environmental Education to learn about frogs living in your local area and how you can join Australia’s biggest frog count.
This program is linked to Frog ID week celebrated between 11-20 November.
