Recycle

This session is based on the text ‘In the Bin’ by Kellie Bollard. Through this fun, rhyming story, students learn about about domestic bins, recycling, worms, compost and rubbish. Students will be engaged through song, the text and interaction around recycling.
The context is the 3 bin domestic bin system in Greater Sydney. The focus is on how to reduce landfill (red bin) and encourage use of recycling through increasing the use of the green and yellow bins. Soft plastic recycling and FoGo (food organics garden organics) will be mentioned. A great way to connect what happens at home to your school practices.
