Students can join our resident Pirate, Grognose Johnny and learn how to speak like a pirate, dress like a pirate and even dance like a pirate!
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
This video from the Australian National Maritime Museum gets students moving as they learn about life as an old-fashioned pirate sailing across the seven seas. It includes a pirate sea shanty dance that fits perfectly with the Music and Dance outcomes of the creative arts syllabus and accompanying worksheets engage students in literacy and numeracy activities.
