Park Explorers – Stage 1

Parks are great places to have fun while exploring natural and constructed features. Will you join us to become a Park Explorer? Students will be taken on a virtual visit to Centennial Park to explore the natural and constructed features that make Centennial Park unique. Explore some of the living things that call the Park home and why. Students will then be encouraged to visit a local park to explore what is living there, what activities people do when they visit and why parks are important for the community.
Students will
- Describe features of places and the connection people have with place
- Identify ways in which people interact with and care for places
- Communicate geographical information and use geographical tools for inquiry.
Cost: $100 for 1 class up to 30 students/$175 for two classes up to 60 students/ $225 for three classes up to 90 students.
Capacity 300 students per session.
