Online case study ARTEXPRESS 2023 (Stage 6)

Senior Visual Arts students are invited to join us online for this case study in association with ARTEXPRESS 2023.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
This is an opportunity for Year 11 and 12 students to gain insights and inspiration that will help them develop their own body of work.
During the one-hour case study session held via Zoom, you’ll hear from the curator and from students in this year’s ARTEXPRESS exhibition, discovering their processes and how they overcame challenges. You’ll be introduced to the Inside ARTEXPRESS online resource, which features works back to 2005, and look at some examples from previous years. At the end, there will be time for a Q&A

Technology and Materials Requirements
The program includes a live presentation with an educator and time for questions. We ask that at least one supervising teacher be in the classroom with the students.
We recommend using Zoom through your smart board. Please see the below link for additional support on using Zoom in the classroom:

If you don’t have it already, you’ll need to download the free video-conferencing app Zoom. As of 30 May 2021, Zoom has required all users to be running Zoom 5.0 or higher in order to join meetings. This relates to their security upgrade. If you have Zoom installed but haven’t updated to Zoom 5.0, you’ll need to run the update.
We ask that you have your webcam and audio on so we can see as many of your students as possible. Could the teacher please sit near the microphone and repeat your students answers back to us if needed. Please ensure that only one device plays sound to avoid noise feedback.
The program will include an art-marking activity. A list of materials will be emailed to you soon. All materials can be easily found around your classroom!
