Natural Disasters

A hands-on science workshop where students investigate all manner of natural disasters. Your students will learn about earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, meteorites, cyclones, pandemics and more in this engaging video conferencing workshop.

Cost

  • $200 inc GST per session with 30 students.
  • $300 inc GST per session with 60 students.
  • $400 inc GST per session with 90 students.

A student:

– describes some observable changes over time on the Earth’s surface that result from natural processes and human activity (ST2-8ES)

– explains rapid change at the Earth’s surface caused by natural events, using evidence provided by advances in technology and scientific understanding (ST3-9ES)

These inexpensive science materials are readily accessible in any supermarket and make the video conference more interactive and engaging for students. Please check these details carefully.
A tax invoice will be forwarded to you for your school administration.
