My journey beneath the Waves (Stage 2, Stage 3)
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
My Journey Beneath the Waves takes you and your students on an exploration of the marine environment. The temperate waters around Sydney are home to a variety of habitats including kelp beds and sponge gardens. These are wonderful place to dive and discover the diversity of animals that live there.
Karen will talk about her 25 years experience SCUBA diving and take you on a journey beneath the waves to explore this wonderful world.

Presenter Bio
Karen Player founded Australian Environmental Education in 2019 to help parents and teachers deliver Environmental Education programs. Karen has a Masters of Environmental Education and previously worked at the Australian Museum for over 20 years. During this time she gained valuable experience delivering hands on, interactive programs both onsite and offsite. In 2009 Karen began focusing on digital delivery of programs across Australian and is the co-founder of Virtual Excursion Australia. Karen has become a leading content provider using digital technologies to deliver quality learning experiences to students.
