Dr Phoebe Meagher is a conservationist at Taronga Zoo, and an expert on sharks. ºAs a child, Phoebe became interested in nature and ecosystems because her grandmother used to take her camping in the Flinders Ranges and in the Simpson Desert. Phoebe works in research, protecting animals and reintroducing species to the wild such as bilbies.
