Take a journey through time to learn about the waves of migration to Australia’s shores.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
We have unearthed from our collections, amazing primary sources and incredible stories of people’s lives. We’ll investigate their reasons for migrating, uncover different journeys over the sea to understand the experience of people who left everything familiar, to embark on a new life in Australia.

Technology and Materials Requirements
This virtual excursion will be held online via Zoom. You will be sent the link to join with your booking confirmation.
Students can connect to our virtual excursions when learning from home. As a teacher, you will only need to register once to receive a link you can share with your students.
During the session, students will be able to ask questions by writing in the chat and they will not share any audio or video. All messages will be visible to the presenters but not to any other students.
When students use the link to join the virtual excursion they may be asked to download Zoom if they don’t already have it installed. They do not need to set up a Zoom account to participate.
