Experience one of our fun, curriculum-focused learning programs live from the National Portrait Gallery, specifically for home based learners. No group/class connections in this session.

ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Portraits will be selected based on it being SciFest and Literacy and Numeracy week
In this history-focused program we will explore portraits as historical sources, investigating time, place, people and artists perspectives. Students respond with writing, drawing, and discussion all the while practicing important skills of visual analysis as they consider the historical value of art and portraiture.

Students require some sheets of paper and a pencil/crayon/texta to draw with.
This virtual learning program will be delivered via Zoom. Upon booking, you will be sent a link to follow.
To facilitate the best possible experience we require an adult to rename the Zoom connection to appropriately reflect those behind the camera. Your family/booking name, student level/s and student numbers is preferred eg. Nolan – Year 1/3/5 – 3
We prefer you have your cameras turned on as it assists to aid participant interaction with our shared community.
