Teachers – celebrate First Nations stories with version 9.0 of the F-10 Australian curriculum.

ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Teachers, educators, and school leadership are invited to celebrate the contributions of First Nations subjects and artists from the National Portrait Gallery and National Gallery of Australia collections.
Using the scope and sequence of Visual Arts in version 9.0 of the Australian curriculum, First Nations educators will speak to First Nations specific content descriptors and match them with artworks, ideas, themes and learning opportunities.
This program will highlight the central ideas of the artworks in parallel to a selection of visual artworks under the ‘Exploring and Responding’ strand.
