Learn about some of the most well-known works of art in the Gallery’s collection. From Jackson Pollock’s painting Blue poles 1952 to Emily Kame Kngwarreye’s The Alhalkere Suite 1993, this program focuses on the role of art and artists in our society.

Presented live by an National Gallery of Australia Educator. There will be opportunities for interaction during the session.

We recommend that participants have pencil and paper with them to jot down thoughts during the digital excursion. An art making activity will be outlined towards the end, encouraging students to create art tools from recycled materials.
