Your class will have a chance to run experiments during the event using materials provided by your school. Fizzics Education will provide information on materials required prior to the event date. Should you require a different day please contact us and we’ll arrange a suitable time for you!
Price
$200 inc GST per session with up to 30 students.
$300 inc GST per session with up to 60 students.
$400 inc GST per session with up to 90 students.
Multiple schools/groups may be booked into each session. If you would like an exclusive session for your cohort, please let us know upon booking.

Learning Intentions & Success Criteria
Primary school
A student:
- can explain the effect of heat on the properties and behaviour of materials
- can explain the difference between a physical & chemical change
- can describe observable changes that can occur during a chemical reaction (light released, heat change etc)
- that chemical reactions involve a change in the substance and a new substance is formed
High school
A student:
- can describe the observed properties and behaviour of matter, using scientific models and theories about the motion and arrangement of particles
- can discuss the importance of chemical reactions in the production of a range of substances, and the influence of society on the development of new materials

We will work with you to find the best date and your preferred conference platform (we prefer Zoom and will use this as a default)

After your booking is finalised, we will send out a materials list that details the experiments that you will run in your classroom. These inexpensive science materials are readily accessible in any supermarket and make the video conference more interactive and engaging for students. Please check these details carefully.
